A rich iced hojicha is topped with pink strawberry cold foam for a refreshing and beautiful summer drink.
Each sip is a delicious blend between the bold roasted green tea and the sweet foamy milk. For an even creamier experience, try adding the frothed topping over an iced hojicha latte.
Ingredients
Iced Hojicha
- 1 teaspoon Hojicha Powder
- 120 ml (1/2 cup) filtered water, divided
- 1/2 cup ice
Strawberry Cold Foam
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) milk (we used barista oat milk)
- 1 tablespoon strawberry syrup (plus more to taste)
- Optional: red food coloring
Instructions
- Prepare the iced hojicha by whisking together 1 teaspoon of Hojicha Powder and 60 ml (1/4 cup) of cold filtered water.
- Into a glass, add 1/2 cup ice, whisked hojicha, and remaining 60 ml (1/4 cup) cold water.
- Add 60 ml (1/4 cup) cold milk and 1 tablespoon strawberry syrup into a cold pitcher. Optional: add a few drops of red food coloring for a more vibrant shade of pink.
- Froth together using a hand-held milk frother.
- Pour the strawberry cold foam over the iced hojicha.
- Sip, stir, and enjoy!
